The leading style icon, Sonam Kapoor married her long-time beau Anand Ahuja and the entire Bollywood witnessed this grand soiree. Celebrations were going on in full swing since last few days and they tied the knot on Tuesday in Sonam’s aunt, Kavita Singh’s plush bungalow Rockdale on Bandstand.
This big fat Punjabi wedding was all about the awestruck fashion statements made by the adorable love-birds.
Mehendi was all about the Happy Bride!
Happy brides are the prettiest and Sonam has proved it on her mehendi ceremony. The beautiful couple was twinning in pink where Sonam Kapoor chose a pink and lilac sharara suit along with a dupatta. The pretty attire was designed using heavy brocade border and threadwork in gold. She completed the look with statement earrings and subtle make-up. Her better-half was donning a pink bandhgala kurta and a lilac handkerchief was uplifting his overall look.

Sangeet was a glitzy affair for sure!
The Bollywood style icon looked ravishingly amazing on her sangeet night. The bride-to-be embraced an ivory colored outfit in which the high-neck backless blouse was the showstopper of her entire look. The lehenga was crafted with heavy gold embroidery and dupatta having floral threadwork in gold. She was looking breathtakingly stunning with an uncut diamond and pearl choker, matching jhumkas and maangtika. Anand wore an ivory kurta having gold threadwork on the neckline along with a Nehru Jacket. He complemented his outfit with churidar pants and diamond and emerald brooch pin.

Anand Karaj Ceremony
Finally, the duo got hitched in an Anand Karaj ceremony which was held on May 8th. Sonam was looking ethereal in a customized red and gold lehenga adorned with lotus and star motifs all-over. The style connoisseur beautified her bridal look with a choker, a guttapusalu necklace and a multi-stranded matha patti. The groom flaunted a dapper look in a beige bandhgala and maroon necklace. After the Anand Karaj ceremony, Mrs. Ahuja donned a pastel pink lehenga with lots of thread work in gold and silver for wedding luncheon.

The reception of the power couple was a star-studded affair. Mrs. Sonam Kapoor Ahuja amazed us with her choice of copper-grey lehenga having chevron print all-over. In spite of choosing bright and vibrant colors, our fashionista kept it classy with earthy tones. She accessorized her outfit with a four-tier neckpiece, light smokey eyes and sleek, straight hair. To give her gorgeous wife a perfect match, Mr. Ahuja chose a black bandhgala and contrast white bottoms.
