Can we imagine a life without moms, sisters or girlfriends? No way! It feels horrible than you can imagine, right? This International Women’s Day lets celebrate by taking an oath of Educating Women. Here we are talking about educating girls and women to make them independent, independent in thoughts, independent in taking own decision.

Education means overall development. We all can contribute in this movement with simple efforts. If you like to teach then help the girls in your locality with lessons in weekend or just give free tuition to those who can’t afford to go to private schools. If you like to help financially, there are multiple organizations and NGOs where you can join and do your contribution. You can simply donate your old books or books which you don’t read anymore. These are just few examples; all you need to do is participate whole heartedly and support this movement.
We are not talking about primary education here, which is already mandatory as per government. We are looking at professional education, technical education, vocational education and many more that will help women to improve their skills. Can we imagine all women we know going out all alone independent and doing what her heart says?
Yes, we have come a long way. Here we are on International women’s Day to celebrate the achievements of women in all spheres of life. But we don’t want to celebrate alone; we want everyone to be a part of this celebration. One who is cleaning our houses or cooking food for us, or the one who is doing household work in her house because she doesn’t need to go to school.
Women’s day is to celebrate womanhood by highlighting their achievements. This women’s day can we all come together and advocate the idea of encouraging women to education and make then independent to come forward and fight for themselves. Not helping them to fight but help them to rise, to be prepared for all situations.
